Aris Hampers Early Life and Background

Aris Peter Hampers was born on 4 May 1949, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States to an American couple. He was born into a normal middle-class, small sweet family. His parents were followers of the Christian religion and built a household filled with religious values and faiths. He developed a love for music while rocking out to the record player and jukebox as a youngster. Aris was extraordinarily talented at playing the piano and organ as well as writing music throughout his entire life.

It was because he started doing so in his very childhood. Aris used to live experimenting with tunes and instruments. He was a kid of only maybe ten to twelve years old when he first started having an immense amount of interest in music and bands. Eventually, he taught himself to play piano and guitar, and other instrumentals and became great at them. Aris was able to share his distinctive voice and passion for outstanding musicians. Furthermore, To provide local bands a chance to demonstrate their potential, Aris also hosted rock searches. He even coached several artists and up-and-coming musicians.

Aris Hampers Death and Cause

In a Facebook post from December 2019, Aris Hampers announced that he had been absent on social media for around six months. He confessed that in February 2016 he noticed a difference in his voice and made the decision to get checked out. The doctor said it was nothing and Ari dismissed it thinking that he was getting old. However, the situation deteriorated during the following three years. Aris also wrote that he began getting requests for guest podcast appearances, and a return to radio for a regular afternoon air shift. But he turned down all of the offers because he believed his voice would eventually get worse.

He admitted that there was a time when he was unable to speak to anyone, not even in a quiet room and that was when he went to the ENT. The doctors discovered a lump behind his voicebox. It was discovered that he had a malignant tumor on his windpipe which had already destroyed most of his larynx. The cost of the surgeries, he said, was equivalent to the price of a mid-sized home on the West side, and he had to stay in the hospital for a total of 14 days. However, his health deteriorated eventually and on 5th February 2023, he passed away.

The visitation service will be placed at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, on Thursday, February 9 from 4 pm to 7 pm with a brief memorial and Trisagion ceremony at 6 pm. Furthermore, the funeral will be held on February 10, Friday at 10 a.m. The family will have a private burial service and has asked for privacy.
