He appeared in 24 playoff games and eventually led his team to the NBA finals, where they were defeated by Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls.
He remained with the Suns for three more seasons before being traded to the Houston Rockets in 1996. His first season with the Rockets did not go well because he was plagued by injuries.
