JaMarious Logan Death; Missing 15 Years Old Found Dead In Sylacauga
Ja’Marious Logan, who was 15 years old at the time, was the subject of a press conference that was held on Friday afternoon by the Huntsville Police Department.
The Huntsville Police Department is looking for a 15-year-old girl who went missing.
The human remains, which are widely believed to belong to Logan, were discovered on Thursday in Sylacauga, Alabama, according to HPD officials.
On September 25, Logan was the last person seen at the LR Patton apartment complex. The next day, on September 27, the Huntsville Police Department was notified that Logan was missing. At that time, according to official statements, detectives lacked credible information regarding Logan’s whereabouts and the people he was with.
On Friday, Latorrie Gaddis, who is 33 years old, was charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death of Logan. The Gulf Coast Regional Task Force of the United States Marshals Service was the one that tracked Gaddis down to Alexander City. Gaddis was previously wanted by the HPD for two warrants related to assault in the second degree.
Deserea Cunningham, who is 34 years old and is married to Gaddis, is the subject of a hindering prosecution warrant that investigators have secured. She was arrested by the law enforcement officials on Friday afternoon and sent to the Talladega County Jail to be processed there. She will be brought back to Huntsville by extradition, and at a later date, she will be placed into the Madison County Jail.
In connection with Logan’s disappearance, the 37-year-old Latoya Wells and the 33-year-old Corie Wilson have been charged with abduction. According to the authorities, both of them will be processed at the Madison County Jail.
