Jan Carlo Santana and Tucker Schimelfenig Obituary

The unfortunate incident on Saturday resulted in the passing of twin brothers Tucker Schimelfenig and Christian Schimelfenig, both 23 years of age and originally from Clarks Summit.

The Times-Tribune will announce its official Tucker Schimelfenig Obituary and Funeral services of the twin brothers in its upcoming edition.

Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home Inc. will take care of Tucker and Christian’s funeral arrangements at 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton.

Tucker Schimelfenig, who sadly passed away at the age of 23, was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.

He was involved in numerous activities on campus, including the Engineering Club, the National Society of Scholars and Leaders, and the Jeff Invest Club.

Before college, Tucker went to Abington Heights High School, where his friends and teachers loved him.

He worked as a Project Engineer at McCloskey Mechanical Contractors, significantly contributing to the Company’s success.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Tucker enjoyed serving as a Food Server at The Country Club of Scranton.

As much as we regret to say we couldn’t find many digital footprints of Jan Carlo Santana, 31, of Philadelphia, another crash victim.

Santana worked as a driver for Uber, and unfortunately, the three individuals who lost their lives were his passengers at the time of the tragic incident.

According to acquaintances and loved ones of Santana, his family, along with his belief system, held a central place in his life and were of utmost importance to him.

As stated by a close friend of the family, Norma Santiago, Santana was a caring and responsible Father, husband, and provider. His sudden demise is indeed a tragic loss.

The young daughter of Santana expressed her desire to bring her Father back by asking if praying to Jesus would make it happen. Santiago shared that this sentiment was heart-wrenching.

We will update his obituary as soon as a spokesperson from his family reaches out to us, and we don’t want to trouble his family anymore during their time of extreme grief.
