Kane and AJ where is it going?
Personally, I see one of two things happening. After AJ appeared in Kane's mask, I got to thinking. I'm a big comic book fan, and I saw instantaneous parallels to Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn; to The Joker. AJ's the bubbly girl whose somehow corrupt by a deranged love for a horribly dysfunctional and psychotic creature, and subsequently manifested itself with that costume presented on RAW. Incredibly interesting to me, however they seemingly nixed it on Smackdown.
The only person involved who I do not see benefiting from the situation is CM Punk. As per AJ's neurotic behavior that led to CM Punk retaining his championship at No Way Out, I feel as though she's playing him for certain. I see AJ being put directly with either Kane or Daniel Bryan (again) to give either of the characters a new, unpredictable factor.
Kane: Kane has had the same gimmick for the majority of his career, Yankem and cameos of the sort not included. He's been a pretty bland character ever since Triple H took the Unified World/Intercontinental Championship; with periodic spurts of brilliance. Whether Kane's lacking motivation, or simply isn't being given anything interesting from creative, his character's fallen flat. Especially since his return at the beginning of the year with the John Cena feud. I personally feel that AJ could give a humanizing boost to Kane's stale, monotonous character. Whether it be him showing concern and compassion for another individual, and through such, be manipulated into once again returning to glory as a true monster. If not, sadly, I feel Kane won't go anywhere. So for this reason, I hope AJ stays with Kane.
Daniel Bryan: While he's still lacking something to be desired in the personality department, I feel that will come in due time. With or without a valet. AJ and DB had a hilarious, yet terrible thing going prior to WrestleMania. "AJ. Shut Up." For instance. I feel like it gave him something that hasn't been seen often, especially of late. Bryan being a flat-out douche and rubbing people the wrong way, getting cheap heat from mistreating his girlfriend. Is that something that should be seen on TV? No, not really. But it was entertaining when you keep in mind the notion of it being an act. I also feel that Daniel Bryan is the type who could use a valet until he's established as a main event mainstay.
Regardless, while I do enjoy the chemistry AJ and Daniel had on air.. I don't see AJ giving any element to DB that he won't be eventually develop himself over time. His growing prowess on the microphone and transformation over the last year has been mind-blowing. But hey, I'm no genius and I certainly have no idea where this is going. So I guess I'll just wait and see.
