Scheduling a Tour
We love to show off our beautiful campus and all of its great accomplishments. We give tours weekdays year round, with the exception of university holidays, when MSU students are not in session, and during exam periods. Browse our available tours to see what interests you and how much time each takes, then contact us at visit@pres.msstate.edu or 662.325.5198 to set up your tour. Please note that tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
All UNDERGRADUATE prospective student tours are scheduled through the Admissions and Scholarships Office, not the Welcome Center. Click here (Tour Scheduler) to go to their site and schedule your tour.
All GRADUATE prospective student tours are scheduled through The Graduate School, not the Welcome Center.

From Highway 25 North
- Continue on Highway 25 to the Highway 82 exit.
- Exit Highway 82 east towards, Columbus, MS.
- Take the Highway 12 exit toward Starkville/Mississippi State.
- Turn left at your first light, which is Highway 12 and Stone Boulevard (Comfort Suites is on your right).
- Turn at the second left onto B.S. Hood Drive.
- Turn left into the Cullis Wade Depot - Barnes & Noble, Welcome Center parking lot and enter through the MSU Welcome Center doors, located under the large MSU clock.
From Highway 82
- From Highway 82 take the Highway 12 exit toward Starkville/Mississippi State.

- Turn at the second left onto B.S. Hood Drive. Turn left into the Cullis Wade Depot - Barnes & Noble, Welcome Center parking lot and enter through the MSU Welcome Center doors, located under the large MSU clock.
From Highway 12 East
- Continue on Highway 12 through Starkville.
- Stay on Highway 12 as if you are going to Columbus, not on to campus once on the east side of town.
- Turn right at the red light of Highway 12 and Stone Boulevard (Comfort Suites on your left). Turn at the second left onto B.S. Hood Drive.
- Turn left into the Cullis Wade Depot - Barnes & Noble, Welcome Center parking lot and enter through the MSU Welcome Center doors, located under the large MSU clock.
Area Airports
Guest Parking
Guest parking is available to the general public in the Welcome Center/Barnes & Noble parking lot (as available, with the exception of on football Game Day) or in metered and mobile app areas throughout campus.
