PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Chelsea Grimm, a San Diego resident aged 32, last spotted on September 28th in Williams, Arizona, had a heartfelt conversation with a law enforcement officer and a short interaction with a woodcutter prior to her vanishing, 12 News.
Grimm was embarking on a journey across the country from her residence in San Diego to Connecticut for a family wedding, with plans to camp in Arizona en route.

On September 28, a law enforcement officer attended to a report of unusual activity near a graveyard in Williams, Arizona.
The officer’s body camera footage reveals an agitated Grimm, who mentioned she was engaged in a photography project, per Fox News.

In the body camera footage, the officer inquires Grimm, "How are you doing?" as reported and obtained by azfamily.com. The local news source added that the woman "appears upset" on the bodycam footage and responded "I’m okay. How are you?"
"I just was doing a photo shoot of the lost soldiers and got a little emotional, so I was crying before I got back on the road," the 32-year-old reportedly said in the body cam footage.
She indicated that she didn’t have a hotel reservation as she intended to camp for the night. The officer suggested a nearby gas station area where she could rest undisturbed, as reported by azfamily.com.
"Awesome. Yeah, love that," was Grimm’s response. This was the last recorded sighting of Grimm.

According to police, on September 30, she had a brief conversation with a woodcutter who discovered her camped in a secluded part of Ash Fork. Grimm assured the staff member she was OK.

Chelsea Grimm was reported missing by her family on October 4. A few days later, her SUV was discovered on a secluded forest road northeast of Ash Fork.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has been searching for Grimm, which includes multiple updates on social media featuring photos of her last known outfit, a unique tattoo on her left arm, her pet bearded dragon named "Roz" or "Roxy" and her white Escape.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have seen or interacted with Chelsea or her bearded dragon to get in touch with them at 928-774-4523.
The Search and Rescue and Criminal Investigations Divisions of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office promptly arrived at the scene and initiated search operations.
